Russell helps small-business owners turn ideas into workable plans and use technology to build stronger businesses. His career spans nearly three decades across business leadership, finance, operations and technology, giving him a practical understanding of both the big decisions and the everyday challenges owners face.
With an MBA and experience spanning software and medical-device manufacturing, Russell has served as a company president and led Asia-Pacific finance and operations from Singapore across ten countries. His work has included business strategy, financial planning, operational improvement and building systems that help people work more effectively. Applying technology to business problems has long been part of that work, from automating workflows and improving reporting to today’s AI-powered tools and applications.
BTA was founded by Russell Ziegler, a former SCORE mentor who completed more than 1,300 mentoring sessions. From 2022 to 2026 he worked closely, as a volunteer SCORE mentor, with entrepreneurs on business planning, cash flow, sales, operations and growth. Those relationships reinforced his belief that useful guidance starts with understanding the person behind the business, what they want to achieve and what’s getting in their way.
At Bots Temp Agency, Russell combines that experience with hands-on AI and technology development alongside Joseph and Lucas. He helps clients clarify priorities, test assumptions and decide what is worth building, then works with the team to turn those decisions into practical solutions.
